Q: How do I sign up?
A: Use our online booking system that is located on the Enroll Page.
You will receive a confirmation email after enrolling in a class.
Each class includes breakfast, snacks, and drinks (lunch is on your own).
Registration begins at 8:30 AM and class starts promptly at 9:00 AM. Instruction ends by 5:00 PM.
Q: Will this suffice as my license to be an Executive Director?
A: No. You still need to get your RCFE Administrator’s License. This academy will help you succeed and be better prepared to step into the role.
Q: Can I get any Continuing Education credit for taking your class?
A: Sorry, not at this time — just more confidence and better preparation!
Q: Are you promising that if I take your class I will get a job as an ED?
A: No, we cannot promise that. But this class is a great start, and we are happy to support you afterward as well. Helping others succeed is what we do!
Q: Do I need prior leadership experience to attend?
A: No prior Executive Director experience is required — just a strong interest in operations leadership and the drive to learn.
Q: How long is the program?
A: The academy runs across three full-day sessions (9 AM–5 PM each), with workshops, real scenarios, and coaching.
Q: Where does the training take place?
A: Training is held at the Courtyard by Marriott Oceanside in Southern California. Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging.
Q: What should I bring to class?
A: A notebook or laptop/tablet, and if possible, anonymized sample metrics from your current or previous community to work on during exercises.
Q: What support is available after I complete the program?
A: Graduates receive ongoing career support, mentorship, and access to our professional network even after the course ends.
